From high-level government liaison to on-ground clean-up drives, WEPPIA's executive committee stays actively involved with the Karnataka administration and Bengaluru's civic bodies to resolve issues affecting the EPIP industrial zone. Here are some of our recent initiatives.

Joint Commissioner's Field Visit to WEPPIA

Sri. Venkata Chelapathi, KAS, Joint Commissioner of Mahadevapura, visited the WEPPIA area along with his team of executives to inspect ground conditions and review the infrastructure and civic concerns raised by member companies.

Public Engagement

Jana Spandana — Public & Traffic Grievance Meet

WEPPIA participated in the monthly Jana Spandana programme organised by the Police Commissioner, hosted at Qualcomm India, Bengaluru — bringing together senior police officials, member representatives and the public to address civic, traffic and law-and-order concerns in the area.

Environment & Green Cover

Green Cover Restoration at Graphite Junction

With permission from the Forest Department, 5 trees were removed near Graphite Junction and 60 saplings were planted in their place, as advised and guided by the Forest Executive Officer — reaffirming WEPPIA's commitment to a clean, green and sustainable EPIP.

Zonal Commissioner Addresses Member Grievances

Zonal Commissioner Shri Thirulok Chandra, along with WEPPIA executives, visited the park and held discussions at Qualcomm to hear and address the grievances raised by member companies operating within EPIP.

Hawkers' Drive to Clear Encroached Footpaths

Zonal Commissioner Shri N. Ramesh, IAS, visited WEPPIA along with his officials and led a hawkers' drive to clear encroachments and restore free, safe pedestrian movement on the footpaths of EPIP.

Representation to Deputy CM Sri D. K. Shivakumar

WEPPIA representatives met Deputy Chief Minister Sri D. K. Shivakumar and submitted a formal representation requesting his intervention to resolve pressing issues concerning the IT Corridor within the EPIP zone.
